Description

PlantGrow’s Multi-Purpose Peat Free Compost is an all-in-one compost, mulch and soil conditioner, made from specific cereal and grass crops that pass through our anaerobic digestion process. The organic fibre this produces is blended with a fine-grade multipurpose compost to give a crumbly, water-retaining mix full of the soil microbes plants rely on.

Because it is made entirely from plants there is no peat, no animal waste and nothing chemical – just a comprehensive range of micro and macronutrients that revitalise tired soil and support sustained growth for flowers, fruit, vegetables and shrubs.

Recommended use: Mix into or top-dress new planting borders and vegetable patches, where young plants and crops are hungry for organic nutrients. It works equally well conditioning established borders, allotments and orchards through the year, and is at home in pots and containers. Apply straight from the bag as a no-dig mulch, as a top dressing on bare soil, worked into existing soil or compost, or placed in the bottom of planting holes.

Reapply as required. Our compost can be used alongside other plant feeds, where its microbial content helps optimise nutrient release. Wash your hands after use – all that natural goodness is meant for plants.
