PlantGrow Lawn Dressing Soil Mix is a specifically blended topsoil, combined with our award-winning organic fibre, for levelling and improving new or existing lawns. The blend is deliberately fine, so it drops between the grass blades and settles into hollows rather than sitting on top and smothering the sward.

Use it for the small jobs and the big ones. It will rejuvenate tired soils, bring worn and bare patches back into growth, and even out the dips and bumps that make mowing awkward. It is equally suited to a full garden project, whether you are preparing ground for new turf or starting a lawn from seed.

The organic fibre content is what sets it apart from plain topsoil. Alongside the immediate levelling, it holds moisture at root level and releases nutrients gradually, so the soil beneath your lawn keeps improving over the seasons rather than needing constant feeding.

Recommended use: Spread and work in with the back of a rake or a stiff brush, filling hollows and levelling as you go. Apply in thin layers rather than one thick one, keeping the grass tips visible. Best applied during the growing season when the lawn can knit back through quickly.
