Produced from quality ash, sycamore and beech, it is cut to a 9 inch length that suits the majority of wood burning stoves, open fires and outdoor appliances.
Kiln drying brings the moisture content below 20%, and that is what makes the difference in use. Dry hardwood lights readily, burns hot and burns clean, giving far more usable heat from each log than seasoned or part-dried wood. It also produces very little smoke, which means no soot or tar building up in your chimney or flue over the course of a winter.
Recommended use: Suitable for wood burning stoves, open fires, chimineas, pizza ovens and outdoor fire pits.
Storage: Store undercover in a dry, well-ventilated place. Kiln dried logs will draw moisture back out of the air if they are left out in the open, so keeping them dry protects the low moisture content you are paying for.
