It is the solid end-product of organically grown cereal and grass crops, a moist and crumbly material with no chemical additives, no animal waste and no peat.
What makes it worth adding to a houseplant is the microbial content. Bagged compost and potting soil are often low in the soil bacteria and fungi that break organic matter down and make nutrients available, and a plant sitting in the same pot for a year or two has little chance of getting them any other way. Alongside those microbes, the booster holds water between waterings and provides a comprehensive range of micro and macronutrients that keep composts working.
Directions for use: Apply straight from the pouch as a top dressing on pot and container compost, or mix it into fresh compost before planting or repotting. Wash your hands after use.
